[NOM] 2nd Debate Workshop

JCIHK first started to debate since World Congress 2010 Osaka with our team in the semi-finals and Past President Winnie Yeung (JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes) was awarded the Outstanding Debater.

2012 was also a landmark year. With IPP Winnie as our head coach, NVP Roy Tang and P Yoee Leung ( JCI Apex) as deputy coaches, our ASPAC team with debaters Nathan Wong (JCI Harbour), Megan Yeung (JCI Queensway) and myself won the Debating Championship in ASPAC Hong Kong back in June.

We never ceased improving our debate skills and also competed as finalists in World Congress Taipei with IPP Winnie as Team Captain, Megan and myself as first and second speakers.

Now, 2013 is upon us. Do YOU want to become part of JCIHK’s debating legacy?

Here is your chance! We will be running a series of workshops in order to familiarize our members with debating and the JCI debating style and to search for the new generation of debaters to compete in 2013 conferences.

There will be mock debates, and presentation on logical thinking It is a lot to learn.
